Barron Steffen is a classically trained singer-songwriter
who grew up in Santa Monica, California amidst the influences of his
opera-singing mother and family friends such as Sammy Davis Jr., Frank
Sinatra, and James Galway.
Barron's two music careers span several different genres: one carries
the torch of the American jazz standards from the aforementioned greats,
while his other original music presents a unique blend of soul, pop and
reggae.
His career began in Europe with his Italian roots, where he was twice
ranked "Top 20" and hailed as "…the hottest new
pop sensation in Europe…building a bridge between Naples and Los
Angeles." He then spent several years playing in New York and Los
Angeles with several different bands such as the Co-Dependents and Nada
Loka.
As Nada Loka, Barron's solo project, he was given the honor of being
one of the "Top 10" unsigned bands in the greater Los Angeles
area by Music Connection Magazine.
He then took a hiatus from music to focus on his family, during which
time he became an award-winning elementary school teacher and a North
Shore of Oahu surfer. Barron has returned to music with a renewed clarity
of purpose and passion.
"…an unmistakable voice has returned with its deep, warm
tones. This artist has a great future. Unforgettable…a voice of
great breadth that will last beyond our time."

with Bmg-Sony, Emi, Universal, and WEA in Europe.
