Growing up in Los Angeles Coty Alexander was
performing at five years old doing fashion shows and mannequin modeling,
as well as starting her impersonating career on stage as Shirley Temple.
Coty's had a diverse career in the entertainment arts between acting
in TV commercials, singing with her songwriter sister, and dancing in
music videos (including her own). It's no wonder that her career experience
won her the role of portraying the world's most eclectic performer....
Madonna. Coty's performance of the star has been noted as one of the
best around. And her continued success thrilling thousands of show-goer's
each night on the Las Vegas strip proves her ability to give a first-rate
tribute to the diversity of Madonna's career and has even expanded into
other character tributes to both Marilyn Monroe and Britney Spears.
Dancing was her first love as she performed
throughout her childhood in various acclaimed groups that traveled Nation
wide. Coty started acting as a teenager and has appeared in many national
commercials, infomercials, music videos, television, film and radio ads.
She dabbles in Martial Arts, poetry, choreography writing, and photography.
And is a member of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists
and the Screen Actors Guild.
Her career as a singer began when she and
her older sister started a duet and won their place traveling throughout
Japan and Korea for the U.S.O.. However, she found her niche in live
performing “It's my favorite role in the arts to play (aside from
sword fighting and Martial Arts)”.
After moving to Las Vegas a few years ago to
go to school to eventually become a doctor, she met the
producers of American Superstars and was lead in another
direction and was shortly transformed into the Madonna character
for their highly acclaimed show at the Stratosphere Tower.
The producers knew Impersonating Madonna would be second
nature for Coty with her fiery dancing and sexy stage presence.
The look and the voice are incredibly matched. It’s
has been said that “She gives the material girl a
makeover with an amazing voice that proves her talent as
a singer on her own”. Her reputation of an “immaculate”
portrayal has been distinguished by programs like Good Morning
America, E! Entertainment, MTV, the Travel Channel, Discovery,
and Rolling Stone, the Los Angeles and New York Times and
the San Francisco Chronicle. She takes pride in her portrayal,
but respects that the reputation she is representing is
Madonna’s; but also desires, and will no doubt, conquer
a career of her own. She believes only in giving her all
to her work as an artist and expressing all of ones talents
to the fullest.
