Award winning actor, musician and celebrity
impersonator Daniel Steven Lopez began his show business career at the
age of 7 when he appeared in his first television commercial. A veteran
of over five hundred musical productions, stage plays, TV shows and films,
Danny has established a solid reputation in the world of entertainment.
A member of the actors Equity, AFTRA and the Screen Actors Guild since
1983, Daniel is also renowned in the impersonation tribute band business.
Danny is the star, founder and creator of the famed Beatles tribute band
BackBeat, the Monkees tribute show the Missing Links and the Rolling
Stones tribute group Satisfaction where he performs as George Harrison,
Davy Jones and Keith Richards respectively.
A life long Actor, Danny began his Impersonation career in 1983 at the
young age of 19 by performing as a featured member in the Las Vegas extravaganza,
Legends in Concert. Danny has performed in 48 States and on four continents
as an actor, tribute artist and impersonator. Danny has also worked with
Director Steven Soderbergh among others. Dannys work has been featured
in the LA Times, USA today, VHI, MTV, E! channel, CNN, the Chicago Tribune,
the NY Times and Entertainment Weekly.
Danny’s latest venture in the arts is an accurate, dead-on impersonation
to what many call the world’s greatest actor, Johnny Depp. Danny’s
eerie resemblance to Johnny Depp is uncanny and he is frequently mistaken
for Johnny Depp on the street. " I’ve always been told that
I look like Depp”, states Danny. "it’s a wonderful
challenge to impersonate him and recreate some of his greatest movie
characters
for his millions of fans”.
Danny Lopez not only appears at events as
Johnny Depp impersonator but he can also re-create Depp’s most
famous movie characters: Captain Jack Sparrow, Willy Wonka, Edward Scissorhands,
etc
with
accurate precision. With Danny’s spot on look to Johnny and twenty
thousand dollars in costumes, props, wigs and wardrobe, Danny’s
tribute to Johnny Depp has no equal. Entertainment Weekly reported that
Danny is “an actor with incredible range“.
Danny is a recent
winner of an IGCITA Cloney award for his impersonation work and legendary
actor
Christopher Lee (Johnny’s co-star in four films) called Danny “a
dead ringer” for Depp. In a bit of irony, Danny also shares the
same birth date as Johnny Depp. All movie fans from ages 5 to 95 love

talent, personality and showmanship was everything and much more than
I had hoped it would
be! Selecting entertainment for this event and this diverse group is
a tough task and one I take very seriously, and Danny certainly lived
up to all of our expectations! We needed an entertainer to hold the attention
of the contractors, their spouses and family members of all ages. Danny
met that challenge easily, and I am still getting very positive comments
about him and the time we all spent with Danny and Captain Jack!
A number of our AGC members, family and staff
from the Idaho AGC and Tamarack Resort did not want the Saturday night
party to end! A large
group continued to enjoy Danny into the wee hours of the morning, including
my parents, who are in their 70’s.
We loved Danny, what a very talented individual!
