Coming from a family of artists, Daria Joanna
began her career as a cellist at age 11. Daria studied for 10 years
with Kazimierz Wilkomirski and received a Master of Arts in Cello Performance
from the Frederic Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, Poland. Daria
performed in numerous concerts, recitals and recording sessions with
the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, the Polish Radio Orchestra, and Capella
Bydgostiensis (medieval chamber ensemble).
Daria Joanna toured extensively as a soloist
and as a member of the Polish Piano Trio and the International Baroque
Trio, performing in Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, France,
Spain, Italy, Austria, Egypt, and Portugal. Daria has given concerts
in the Virgin Islands, South Carolina, Georgia, Colorado, New Jersey,
and New York and has recorded extensively in Europe and the USA.
Daria Joanna is available for wedding receptions
- ceremony music, corporate receptions, cocktail hours, as a solo performer,
with piano - small ensemble, or as a soloist for orchestral productions. Daria
has extensive studio experience as a recording artist and has composed
and performed original music for movie soundtracks.
