Bio
Polish cellist Daria Joanna has developed exquisite musicianship over three decades of solid experience composing and performing original music, and participating in numerous concerts, recitals and recording sessions, and tours across the world. A career dawned at the age of 11 led Daria through
ten years of dedicated study under the direction of Kazimierz Wilkomirski, one of Poland’s most renowned cellists, composers and conductors. Her profession later blossomed with a Master of Arts in Cello Performance from the Frederic Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, Poland and an endless list of performances with top groups and in many scenes throughout Europe, the U.S., the Caribbean, and North Africa.

Toured extensively, both as a soloist and as a member of two trios: the Polish Piano Trio and the International Baroque Trio. Performed in Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, France, Spain, Italy, Austria, Egypt, and Portugal.

Performed with the Cairo Symphony Orchestra and the Cairo Chamber Orchestra.  Gave numerous command performances for the diplomatic community in Cairo, Egypt.

Music coordinator for productions of classical and contemporary theater (Shakespeare, Kafka, etc.) at the National Theater, the New Theater, and the Comedy Theater (Warsaw, Poland)

Active member of "Polish Stage Artists."   Performed in numerous concerts and recitals and recorded for Polish Radio and Television with the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, the Polish Radio Orchestra, and Capella Bydgostiensis (medieval chamber ensemble).
