Dewey Chaffee is an accomplished standup comedian,
Host/Emcee, improvisational actor and Jim Carrey Celebrity Impersonator.
His performances have been described as funny, sensitive and warm. Dewey's
standup comedy routine brings humor to his childhood upbringing as a "skinny,
white-trash kid." His act covers topics from what it was like growing
up an introverted, insecure kid to becoming a married man and a father
-all by the age of twenty-three! As a Host/Emcee, Dewey Chaffee can bring lighthearted
fun and humor to any stage show, corporate ceremony or special event.
He has managed to make even the infamously stoic rocket scientists at
Lockheed Martin laugh two years running at their annual corporate awards
ceremony!
As Jim Carrey's "Ace Ventura", Dewey
Chaffee explodes onto the scene, stunning audiences all over the country
with his sharp-wit and uncanny impersonation of this famous celebrity!
Dewey Chaffee is also a treasure-trove of
colorful characters that he's created over the years. One of the most
popular characters in Dewey's repertoire is Linwood Sassy, a codgerly
old man who delivers an "edgier" brand of comedy for clients
in search of something more "daring!"
Motivated by the memory of the Kindergarten teacher
who always called him "Radio Mouth," Dewey Chaffee dreams of
one day performing his comedy for a stadium full of people who actually
bought a ticket to hear him talk!
