world's greatest divas. Using her extraordinary voice, she always sings
live in her impersonations of Marilyn, Liza Minnelli, Madonna, Olivia
Newton-John, etc.
Whether singing "Happy Birthday Mr. President" and roasting
the president of a major corporation, or kicking off the evening dance
with her high energy Madonna show, or thrilling the crowd with classics
like "New York, New York, Gailyn adds the perfect entertainment
to every event.
Bio
Author of the book Be Marilyn: A Glamorous Guide to Living Blonde,
(Sourcebooks Publishing) Gailyn Addis landed her first acting job when
she was just
a college student. Shortly after in 1994, she moved to Los Angeles
to study acting and voice. Her physical resemblance to Marilyn Monroe
was
soon discovered as well as her ability to impersonate the voices and
looks of Marilyn, Liza Minnelli, Madonna, Judy Garland, Olivia Newton
John, Alanis Morissette and many others.

Gailyn Addis has since stacked up an impressive list of credits
in film and television portraying Marilyn in Showtime's "Out There," the
Disney Channel's "Munchie
Strikes Back," "Clueless," "The Other Side," "To
Tell the Truth," and the music videos of "The Rembrandts" and "Ministry." Most
recently, she starred in a commercial for Toyota and was featured in
The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Gailyn was also Bridget Fonda's personal
consultant for the movie "Graceland" in which Bridget portrayed
a Marilyn Monroe impersonator.
Overseas venues where Gailyn Addis has performed include the
Estrel Festival Center in Berlin, Germany with Stars in Concert, the
Olympic Stadium
in Seoul, Korea, the Genting Highlands Resort in Malaysia, the Bangkok
Royal Sports Club, the Prince Hotels in Japan, American military bases
in Japan, Spain and Italy, and Star Cruises in Hong Kong with the award
winning show "Legends in Concert."
In the United States, she lights up the stage portraying both Marilyn
and Liza in: "A Really Big Shew" at the Tropicana in Atlantic
City, the Reno Hilton, and the Flamingo Laughlin; "Divas Las Vegas" and "The
Rat Pack is Back" in L.A., Las Vegas and Palm Springs; and "Hollywood
Stars" at venues in the U.S. and abroad. She has also made special
appearances for Legends in Concert, Mercedes Benz, McDonalds, Universal
Studios, Paramount Pictures, and the Debbie Reynolds Hotel and Casino
for which she modeled the original "Seven Year Itch" dress
worn by Marilyn Monroe (It was a perfect fit!).
Gailyn also writes and produces her own original music and has had
her songs featured in the independent film Alien Secrets, and in the
television
soap operas All My Children and The Young and The Restless.
