Holly Faris always had a gift for impersonation.
She started with weird relatives and homeroom teachers. As she readily
admits, "I used to get hit for it, now I get paid for it." Holly
Faris has appeared in showrooms across the country, from Las Vegas to
Atlantic City. In addition, she has performed in the Caribbean, where
she was
dubbed the Tina Turner of Aruba, after appearing in a show there for
two years and cutting two records as Tina in Papiamento, the native dialect.
Greece was her home for three months while
appearing in a revue with Anne Visi, one of the countries' top pop stars.
After returning from Europe, Holly Faris pursued a career in standup
comedy, utilizing it as vehicle to showcase her repertoire of impressions.
Her
clever song parodies included Dolly singing "I wear size 95" and
Liza belting out "Life is a Cabernet". Holly went on to expand
her career in the arts as an opening act for impressionist Frank Gorshin
in addition to appearing in a film with Harvey Keitel and Bridget Fonda.
In 1995, Holly started her own production company called Diva Doubles
and has been concentrating on her career as a celebrity look-a-like.
She still finds time, however, to sing with a big band, perform commercials
and voice-overs and star in original productions, like the recent NY
play, Queen of the Silver Screen, an original musical about the life
of Mae West.

Viva La Diva is a one hour and fifteen minute revue saluting the great female
singing divas of the 20th century. Fast paced, combining comedy, outstanding
impersonation, and audience participation, a fun night is guaranteed for
all.
The Legendary Ladies
Show
This is Holly's' one-woman show, featuring anywhere from 6-12 characters. The
show has two formats. The best for smaller functions is the "wigs only" show
which runs from 30-40 minutes in which Holly, through rapid wig changes, becomes
everyone from Joan Rivers to Madonna with an audience participation-bring the
house down-grand finale by Tina Turner. This is also the least expensive. The
other format involves full costume changes, a much larger repertoire of celebrities
and lasts for an hour.
Celebrity Sensations
We let you pick a theme, rock, Broadway, country, etc. and we will create the
show for you, supplied with an emcee and you favorite singing celebrities.
Our shows can last from 45 minutes to 1 & 1/2 hours.
