Aerial Silk

Aerial silk is a modern circus art that has captured the imaginations of audiences worldwide. Two long, luminous strands of fabric stretch from the ceiling to the floor. High in the air, the performer wraps themselves into intricate knots to create an astounding array of breathtaking poses, drops, and slides. Stretching and twisting into seemingly impossible positions, they then suddenly plunge toward the ground in an exquisitely timed, dizzying, and death-defying roll with the silk curling wildly through the air.

Trapeze

Hold on to your seats folks, it's going to be a wild ride! Solo Trapeze has wowed thousands around the globe, and never fails to impress. Perched high on the static trapeze, the performer executes a jaw-dropping array of flips, strength moves, and unbelievable poses. Hanging by her ankles and catching by her toes, this classic is absolute dynamite.

Spinning

DUO AERIAL HOOP

Perfect if you want something with a different "spin"! The aerial hoop act, also called a lyra, delivers a powerful and dizzying performance (literally!). An upright 3-4 foot steel hoop is suspended by rope to a single hang point. The artists then perform inside and around the apparatus, occasionally pushing off the floor or using an assistant to create a breathtaking spin. The constant spin allows a fantastic three-hundred-and-sixty degree view of their aerial artistry, and also gives this apparatus a thrilling sense of danger.

It is an excellent alternative to duo trapeze when only a single hang point is available, or when a show or event is presented in the round. It is also a great choice if the ceiling or hang point is lower than 16 feet. Want hoop and trapeze in the same show? Never fear - choreography is not duplicated, and the two acts are entirely and dramatically different. Anyone have any Dramamine? All this spinning....

SOLO AERIAL HOOP
Imagine the duo hoop act with a single performer. That's it! Always fabulous, always in demand. In the words of Sam, our biggest 6 year old fan, "Aren't you dizzy, Spin-y Lady?" (Please see the section entitled "Duo Hoop" for a complete description of the apparatus.)

Ground-Based

DUO ACROBATIC BALANCING
Sensuous and dynamic or fabulously funny? You choose with Luminosity's ever-changing acrobatic floor duo! Perfectly customized for every event, this act can be performed anywhere, and requires no special equipment or preparation.

This act, sometimes called "statue" or "hand balancing", incorporates the very best of circus and dance. Exhibiting impressive strength and poise, these two lovely ladies move and contort into extraordinary poses while remaining elegantly balanced atop one another. Suitable for every audience, this act has been performed all over the world, and was recently featured on the show Good Morning NY among others.

JUGGLING
We love these guys. Let me repeat, we love these guys! Identical twin acrobatic jugglers Jake and Marty LaSalle are as talented as they are handsome (yes ladies, they CAN perform sans shirt!). With their fun, eye-catching blend of acrobatics and high-level juggling, they're the best thing to hit the performance scene sinceÉus! CONTORTION
How do they DO that? Does it hurt when her leg wraps around her neck? What would it be like to be able to sit on your own head? Your audience can ponder these and other questions while watching these two bendy ladies twist themselves into amazing positions. Astounding!

HULA HOOPS
Before you get too nostalgic for the 70's, you should know that this isn't your everyday hula hoop-ing! The spectacular Miss Tanya Gagne steps in as our resident hooper, with a knock-your-socks-off act using up to four hoops at a time. You've got to see it to believe it!

GYMNASTIC TUMBLING
Need a random flip? An occasional gymnastic pass? Look no further - Kelley is here! This is not an act per se, more of an addition to a show or act when it needs a little "oomph".
