Jeffrey Daymont has a wide range of skills
and routines to fit a variety of needs. He can perform anything from
a six minute act for a revue show to his one hour stage show.
For those looking for flashy juggling, Jeffrey
performs musical routines with balls, clubs, and ball spinning. His world
famous box manipulation act features original music by composer Jessie
Manno.
For those who prefer comedy, Jeffrey performs
a variety of routines with unusual props including bongos, golf clubs,
unicycling, and rola-bola balancing using audience participation. Jeffrey
performs a 'G' rated, family friendly show and even has jokes for Japanese
audiences. And of course there is "Sergei the Acrobat" who
is highlighted in the book 4000 Years of Juggling as "the most versatile
Cabbage Patch doll performing today." Sergei's slapstick skills
bring tears of laughter to children and adults alike.
Jeffrey Daymont's first claim to fame was
being Hinsdale, Illinois' New Year's Baby of 1968. At 14 he joined his
high school juggling club and learned a skill that would eventually launch
a career. His love and enthusiasm for the art took him to local and national
juggling conventions where he learned from the best jugglers of the country.
Jeffrey quickly earned a reputation as an innovator in the field of cigar
box manipulation and is now a featured workshop leader at juggling conventions.
In 1987 Jeffrey Daymont began a nationwide
tour of Renaissance festivals as "Jeffrey the Traveling Juggler" prompting
fans to cheer "Yea Jeffrey!". With his little, silent partner "Sergei
the Acrobat" Jeffrey has entertained audiences in Japan, Europe,
the former USSR, and all across America. He has also been seen on NBC's "Days
Of Our Lives" during a circus scenario.
Jeffrey Daymont studied comedy writing and
physical comedy at Chicago's Second City and the Celebration Barn Theater.
He
was voted to win the "People's Choice" Award by the International
Jugglers Association and was named "King of Jugglers" at the
14th annual Juggler's Convention in Verona Italy. He was also awarded
the bronze medal at the 2001 World Juggling Championships.
At the start of the new Millennium he joined fellow jugglers Carter Brown and
Cindy Marvell for the Lazer Vaudeville variety show. The trio toured over 200
cities performing at Arts Centers and Vaudeville theaters across America. They
were featured entertainers at England's famous Glastonbury Festival and were
invited to a command performance for Prince Khalid and his family in Saudi
Arabia.
