World Popular Music - Musical
Theatre
Jennifer Fair’s combination of style,
charm, and elegance paired with stunning vocals continue
to make her a favorite with audiences everywhere!
Like many performers, Jennifer Fair got her start early
on starring in many of the great Broadway children’s
musicals. However, she distinctively remembers seeing a
local production of the operatic masterpiece “Carmen”
as a young girl which attracted her to the power of classical
music and it quickly became her muse. After completing her
degrees in Music and Political Science at the University
of Kentucky, she worked in various opera apprentice programs
honing her skills and gaining invaluable experience. Upon
moving to New York, she began working in regional theatres
performing musical theatre and respectfully earning her
membership to the Actor’s Equity Association. She
was then contracted with nationally acclaimed vocal jazz
ensemble “Pieces of Eight” under ICM Artist
Management. The ensemble’s unique blend of classical
and jazz vocal fusion paved the way to venues in the New
York cabaret scene and ultimately a national tour.

With the help of her mentors, her family, and a desire
to diversify her musical interests, she has gone on to study
and perform with many prestigious opera programs such as:
The Toscana Opera Festival in San Gimignano, Italy, The
International Opera Festival di Roma, the Opera Orchestra
of New York at Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln
Center, Chautauqua Institute, Brevard Music Center, and
many of the nation’s respected regional houses and
theatres.
Her latest endeavor is the development of a one woman show
for which she has been enthusiastically received by various
arts organizations, universities and many of the industry’s
top cruise lines including Crystal Cruises, Silversea, Regent,
Princess Cruises, Cunard Lines (Queen Elizabeth 2, Queen
Mary 2, and the Queen Victoria), Celebrity Cruises, Norwegian
Cruise Lines, Orient Lines and many more. Her material is
versatile to a wide demographic audience and to even the
most critical music aficionado. Jennifer is both compelling
and agile in her character portrayals whether she may be
recreating the ardent laments of Piaf in Paris or celebrating
the passionate strains of Puccini’s beloved heroines.
She approaches the World’s greatest romantic melodies
straight from the heart transpiring into a delightful performance
of nostalgic bliss and celestial singing not to be missed!
