stories. Choreographed to music these images inspire, challenge

“ARTSTORY”
Live performance Art Presentation with a twist!
While drawing on a large 4’ x 8’ easel, Joe
Castillo speaks, inspires and motivates with 35-40 minute
lessons and relates ‘life story’ applications,
and stories that touch the heart. The stories literally
come alive as the drawing unfolds captivating, both the
ear, the eye and the heart. These valuable ‘life lessons’
are memorable life changing events.
“WORDSTORY”
Speaking, storytelling and motivating! Having spoken to
hundreds of thousands of people over a period of thirty-two
years Joe has mastered the ability to share stories that
inspire, motivate and touch the heart. Speaking to children,
teens, adults, churches, businesses, and conferences has
made him a much-requested storyteller and raconteur. You
may laugh, cry, hurt, heal and leave his talks and stories
feeling uplifted and filled with a desire to be more than
you ever thought you could. Joe’s stories are often
accompanied by his powerful “ArtStory” illustrations
that capture the eye, the ear and the heart.
A native of Mexico City, Joe Castillo grew up surrounded
by art and the cosmopolitan culture of an international
city. In his teenage years he moved to Florida, attended
Ringling School of Art, and graduated from Florida Bible
College. Starting his career as a Christian businessman,
he founded The Advertising Library, an agency in Knoxville,
Tennessee. After 21 years in advertising, he returned to
school and received a M.A. in Biblical Studies and M. Div.
from Asbury Theological Seminary. He pastured a church for
five years. Now with his wife Cindy, Joe travels speaking
and performing full time.
SandStory Presentations
Transformation:
(10 min)
Transformation is all about growth. Change from small to
big, fearful to ferocious and weak to powerful. Mostly animals,
birds and fish ending with a custom logo or design.
Celebrate Life: (10 min)
The joy of life, growth and change. People going through
the stages of life ending with a custom logo or design.
Hospitality: (10 min)
Encouragement to slow down. The frustration of travel, the
journey, stress transitioning to a peaceful welcome, good
food and a good night sleep, ending with a custom logo or
design.
America: (10 min)
This patriotic presentation includes the images of some
of Americas best known musical icons: Frank Sinatra, Ray
Charles, Elvis, along with images that are part of the American
heritage. It can end with a custom logo or design.
Gabriel's Oboe: (6 min.)
A beautiful performance with a musical story leading to
a storybook ending. It can end with a custom logo or design.
Africa (5 min)
An African theme with the sights, sounds and animals of
the African veldt. Can be ended with a custom logo or design.
Read a Book: (3 min.)
A fun presentation for kids of all ages encouraging people
to ‘read a book.’ Can be ended with a custom
logo or design.
Custom Live performances:
Original “SandStory” performances can be custom
created to existing compositions or original music scores,
by request. A minimum of six weeks lead time and additional
practice times are requested. These custom live “SandStory”
presentations can include your own images, logos, and themes.
Performing with a live band or orchestra would require at
least one live ‘dress rehearsal.’
