Kent Kasper has been
Dr. Phil's personal celebrity look alike, photo double and stand-in
for the past four seasons on "The
Dr. Phil Show." He also doubles Dr. Phil on his prime time network
specials, commercials, movies and print media.
As an actor,
Kent has guest-starred in dozens of television shows and movies, and
has appeared in over
100 commercials and print advertisements. He honed his craft as a top
notch
improvisational performer with the world-class "Groundlings",
and was recently seen in the feature films "Reno911-Miami!" and "I
Know Who Killed Me" and the popular television shows Monk, Mad
Men and Gene Simmons: Family Jewels..
As a professional stand-up comedian for 20 years, Kent Kasper headlined
the top comedy clubs around the nation. In addition to appearances on "The
Tonight Show" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live", Kent has appeared
on HBO, Showtime, Comedy Channel, VH1 , MTV and A&E. Kent has had
the great honor of performing for our nation's troops on the USO Comedy
Tour in 1996.
As a former New York City Assistant District Attorney, Kent's courtroom
persona is clearly evident with his every word and gesture. His experience
as a a prosecutor, actor and stand-up comedian leaves audiences gasping
for breath. If Kent had remained a lawyer, one of two things would have
happened: the world would have missed out on a very funny guy or word
would have spread and there'd be fistfights to get on his juries...
