Winner of the 2006 Cloney Award for "Rising Star", Lisa Irion performs as Cher for corporate events, theatrical venues, night clubs and private events throughout America. Her shows feature the hits sung live in multiple costume replicas from Cher's concert tours. She's been chosen to headline the Cher Expos, sponsored in part by Cher's official website, and has been filmed as Cher for the Tonight Show, Lifetime TV and for two British documentaries. Lisa has also been photographed as a Cher impersonator for publications throughout the world.

With a flair for Audience interaction and participation, she brings up a male CEO or VIP and dresses him up like Sonny, and gets the audience to help him out with a rendition of "I Got You Babe". She also brings up audience members to be "Shoop Shoop" backup singers and dancers, among other audience-interactive numbers. Classic comic Cher banter is abundant between songs.

Lisa Irion performs Live Vocals to recorded background musical tracks (no lip synching or singing along with Cher's recordings), and her performances can last anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours, showcasing up to 7 authentically detailed costume replicas from Cher's concerts.

Bio

Lisa Irion is a seasoned character actress and vocalist with over 20 years experience in the theatre. In 2003, an Elvis impersonator suggested that she attempt to impersonate Cher. Accepting the challenge, she approached it as she would an acting role and studied Cher intensively. Several months later, she produced her own show and debuted her impersonation at a theatre with Elvis and Sinatra impersonators. It sold out every performance for three weeks. Lisa began getting work in her local area (Louisiana) for fund raisers and small corporate events and has rapidly risen up the ranks to one of the country's leading Chers, performing throughout the U.S. In 2005, only two years after her Cher debut, she was nominated for the "Rising Star" Cloney Award. This international award is voted on by agents, producers and artists in the Look-Alike/Tribute industry. She won the "Rising Star" Cloney Award in 2006.

Lisa Irion has entertained Fortune 500 Companies, and was filmed for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Lifetime TV, and two British documentaries about celebrity impersonators. Her resemblance, vocals and stage presence caught the attention of moderators on Cher's Official Website and she was chosen to headline the Cher Expos, performing a 90 minute show for the fans. She has also been photographed as Cher for publications throughout the world.
