Introducing Loveshack
- the premiere nostalgia band. The 70's and 80's extravaganza
that's guaranteed to be the life of the party. This captivating revue
sets the ambiance by taking the stage in full wardrobe, with each member
dressing to impersonate your favorite rock, pop, and new wave bands
from the 80's. The band has multiple costumes including Devo, Billy
Idol, Stray Cats, Martin Gore from Depeche Mode, Madonna, George Michael,
Prince, Blondie, Kate Pearson from the B-52's, Terri Nunn from Berlin,
Adam Ant, and Humpty Hump from the Digital Underground.
Loveshack performs all of the hits from the
80's, and our song list is constantly increasing. And for the 70's, Loveshack
changes costumes sporting the finest polyester, gold chains, bell-bottoms
and platforms. The band sets the groove with just the right dance moves
that create an all night disco party!
Loveshack carries the proud reputation of
being the first known 80's tribute group in the country. The band also
takes great pride in being voted "Best of Las Vegas" in the Las Vegas
Review Journal reader's pole for 1997, 1998, and 1999, and "Best Band" in
the Las Vegas City Life 2000 reader's pole.
Loveshack is a six member group that was created
in 1995, and since that time it has earned a superior reputation among
fans spread all over the country. The band focuses on high-energy sets
with audience participation, and takes pride in their musicianship and
their ability to recreate hit songs exactly the way you remember them.
Loveshack has years of experience with large special
events and conventions, covering everything from class reunion parties
to packed 18,000 seat arenas. They have played regularly in premiere
Las Vegas nightclubs such as Seven, the Palms, Club Madrid, The Drink,
Club Rio, The Beach, The Harley Davidson Café, and clubs in Scottsdale,
Phoenix, Tucson, San Diego, and Los Angeles. Loveshack has also performed
special appearances at the Bellagio, the Venetian, the Aladdin, the MGM,
the Hard Rock Hotel, the New York New York Hotel, the Motown Cafe, the
Monte Carlo, Mandalay Bay, Caesar's Palace, the Mirage, Treasure Island,
the Hilton, the Desert Inn, Palace Station, Sunset Station, and at the
Fremont Street Experience!
