Featuring many of Denver's finest jazz musicians, the Metropolitan Jazz
Orchestra performs the toe-tapping, finger-snapping big band hits of
the '40s and '50s all the
way to present day NY/LA sizzling big band tunes. Enjoy classic charts
from Glen Miller, Tommy Dorsey and Woody Herman to Count Basie, Stan
Kenton and Buddy Rich to the lush vocal ballads of Harry Connick Jr.
and Frank Sinatra to the sultry bossa novas of Antonio Carlos Jobim and
Arturo Sandoval. Classic swing, rock, pop, and Latin, as well as traditional
and holiday programs are available.
The Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra has a growing library of more than 1200
favorite jazz and swing classics as well as a selection of modern pop
hits from the '80s and
'90s. There is something for every musical taste to suit any occasion.
Reasonably priced, the MJO is perfect for jazz festivals, concerts, swing

The Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra Brass is also available for your ceremony
or other event requiring a classical brass choir sound! We can provide
3-6 piece brass choirs
prior to the big band performance or as a stand alone group. Classic
