Peter Salzer is an experienced actor, comedian,
character interpreter and voice-over artist who now lives in the Philadelphia
area. As a George Burns impersonator, he captures the look, style and
voice of the beloved comedian. His solid historical knowledge is displayed
in his recent role as a John Adams interpreter. This talented character
actor has been seen on stage, in film, and in commercials for many years.
His many voices and dialects make him a much sought after voice-over
actor.
George Burns was one of America's favorite
entertainers. His long career spanned vaudeville, radio, television and
films. With his wife and partner, Gracie Allen, he brought warmth and
humor to generations the world over. After her passing, George went on
to star in the beloved OH GOD movies and won an Academy Award for his
performance in THE SUNSHINE BOYS. He continued to appear on stage entertaining
audiences well into his nineties.
Now, Peter Salzer captures the look, voice
and style of this lovable actor and comedian. He has brought George Burns
to life at the Tropicana Showroom in Atlantic City, on the stage of the
Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, and for a variety of groups and organizations.

Many years separate Peter Salzer's
debut as a radio actor and announcer from his recent emergence as an
actor. After a long and successful career as a businessman, salesman
and engineer, Peter has turned to his second love, acting. (His first
love is his wife Judy and their family.) Standup comedy was the first
step he took to the stage. He has studied acting and has appeared in
Community Theater as Oscar in THE ODD COUPLE and as Bennie in THE VALUE
OF NAMES. Film appearances include UNBREAKABLE, EMMETT'S MARK, and
BOTTOM FEEDERS. He has also appeared in several TV commercials. Peter
recently interpreted the part of John Adams for the American Historical
Theatre and has appeared as townsperson Moses Isaacson for Historic
Philadelphia Inc. His impression of George Burns in DREAMS OF BROADWAY
is his most exciting theatrical opportunity to date and he looks forward
to a long run in this role.
