Steve Murphy never had aspirations of becoming
an Elvis Impersonator, when in 1995, he was "Discovered" in
a Karaoke Bar. Two days later he found himself at an Elvis Convention
and has been a full-time Elvis impersonator ever since.
Steve Murphy's credits include over 500 shows
performed, as well as such notable national and international ad’s
as the Milk Mustache Print Ad Campaign, the Energizer Battery TV Commercial
(yes he’s met the Bunny), as well as commercials for Kodak and
Cadbury Chocolate (Europe), just to name a few.
Steve Murphy has also appeared as Elvis in
several videos and motion pictures, including the movie “3000 Miles
to Graceland”.
With his combination of exuberant enthusiasm,
powerful voice, strong look,and great moves he has won numerous contests.
Steve Murphy always brings a genuine sense of joy and pride to his art.
Though much sought after, Steve Murphy still
feels he has a lot to learn about performing as the King. In his own
words, "Perfection is unattainable. So why not strive for it ?" |
