Taylor Mason has been making
audiences laugh, very hard, for 24 years as a professional
comedian. He has headlined every major comedy club in the
USA. He has played Las Vegas, Tahoe and Atlantic City. He
has appeared at Carnegie Hall, The Sydney Opera House in
Australia, and in 1991 Taylor won $100,000 on televisions'
Star Search (the money is long gone, don't ask). In addition,
his self-contained, packs-small-but-plays-big act has entertained
countless corporate clients including McDonald's, The Disney
Corporation, and The Critical Care Nurses Association. With
the ability and experience to customize his performance
while writing topical and client-centered comedy material,
his performance can cross-over into any given situation.
Where the comedians of today often exclude audiences by
age or background or demographic, Taylor Mason maintains
an old-school ethic - he wants to include as many people
as possible. By constantly working to the top of his intelligence,
while keeping abreast of current social and contemporary
themes, Taylor uses every ounce of energy and boundless
enthusiasm to maintain a very high level of comedy performance
for the broad kinds of audiences he has.
He plays the piano. He is a world-class ventriloquist.
He sings, does stand-up, writes jokes and he produces. Face
it, he has no skills with any application to real life.
Thank God he has comedy to fall back on.
Taylor Mason currently has four DVDs that can be found
online and in stores. Two are part of the television series,
"Bananas," and show him performing in a comedy
club. Two are part of the "Thou Shalt Laugh" comedy
DVD series, and feature Taylor along with other comedians.
With a third "Bananas" due for release in 2008,
and a hit children's television show called "Taylor's
Attic," Taylor Mason is very busy, and very jet-lagged.
Not to mention an upcoming national comedy tour that he
will headline, and has already booked dates throughout the
spring and fall of 2008.
Taylor has headlined every major
comedy club in the USA.He is regularly featured on The Disney
Cruise Line. His children's television show, TAYLOR'S ATTIC
has been renewed for another season, and he will appear
in an upcoming motion picture: THOU SHALT LAUGH.
What does he do in his spare time? Well, truth-be-told,
comedy is not his full-time job. Taylor Mason lives in New
Jersey with his wife and two teen-aged sons. They once asked
him, "Dad? Everybody else's father works for a living.
What do you do?" TAYLOR smiled and said, "Boys...
I make fun of those guys."
