The Hot Tomatoes is one of the most sought-after
swing bands. With a legion of fans, the band performs an active schedule
of concerts, dances, and private events throughout the year, delighting
listeners with a diverse array of musical styles from music of the Great
Jazz Age to those fabulous big band jazz and swing bands like Duke Ellington,
Count Basie, Benny Goodman, Harry James, and Glenn Miller, just to name
a few. The band is at home with music for dancers and listeners including
such diverse styles as R&B and Frank Sinatra. The Hot Tomatoes Dance Orchestra is a fabulous
nine piece big band that specializes in swing, dance music, and big band
jazz. They have developed their unique style from the great swing and
jazz bands of the thirties and forties. They excel at re-creating the
wonderful music of Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey,
Duke Ellington, Count Basie and others. The Hot Tomatoes Dance Orchestra
is very popular at weddings, dance events, concerts, and jazz festivals
throughout the western United States.

The Hot Tomatoes Dance Orchestra has an extensive
library of over 1000 musical arrangements includes swing, ballroom, lindy,
latin, waltzes, rhythm and blues, and other popular dance forms. They
feature three excellent singers within the band who interpret music from
Sinatra to Louis Prima to Louis Jordan.
2002 marked The Hot Tomatoes 20th anniversary.
The band's inaugural performance occurred in 1982 for The Harvest Moon
Jazz Festival. Since then, they have performed all over the the western
United States, and beyond, for a wide variety of special events, including
concerts, dances, and jazz festivals.
