Tribe 7 is the ideal dance-show band. Originating
from Phoenix, Arizona U.S.A., Tribe 7 is a collection of highly skilled
musicians and singers who pride themselves on their professionalism,
and musical integrity. The Tribe 7 philosophy is to consistently deliver
a high standard of musical entertainment, with a professional work ethic.
Tribe 7 performs a wide variety of musical styles such as; R&B, Hip-Hop,
Old School Funk, Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, House, Contemporary Jazz and
Reggaeton.

RUBEN MACIAS
Ruben is the founder and Leader of Tribe 7.
As an accomplished guitarist in both electric and acoustic styles, he
studied at the Guitar Institute of Technology in Los Angeles, California
and received his BA in music education from the prestigious Herberger
College of Fine Arts at Arizona State University. The art of guitar has
been a passion of his since age 9 and he is highly influenced by musical
greats such as, Al McKay of Earth Wind & Fire and Paul Jackson Jr.,
a world renowned studio guitarist. On top of being a great guitarist,
he is also an incredible leader and businessman. Ruben's career has allowed
him to travel and bring music to the world. He's used his talents as
a musician and band leader to employ over 150 musicians throughout his
career, allowing others to experience this unique life of music and travel
abroad. Ruben has lead his musical groups to exotic places such as; Tokyo,
Hong Kong, Bangkok, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Philippines, Spain,
Grand Cayman, Canada, and throughout the United States. Likes: Ruben
is a “simple” man with big plans. When he wants to indulge,
his favorite things are astrology, Geico commercials, and watching network
television (especially reality shows). But, when he REALLY wants to indulge,
he sits under a hummingbird feeder and watches birds fight.
TRACY CELAYA
When Tracy hits the stage it's nothing less than amazing! From her high-energy
performance to her passionate vocals, she will definitely captivate any audience.
She has performed at many high-profile venues sharing the stage with artists
such as; CeCe Penniston, Mint Condition, Salt N' Pepa, Gloria Trevy, Teena
Marie and more. Tracy has participated in numerous studio projects for local,
national, and international acts, including credits as a co-writer and performer
on a Billboard charting hit! Tracy has a unique, versatile voice that allows
her to sing anything....and sing it GREAT! Whether it's Salsa, R&B, Jazz
or Hip-Hop, Tracy's is the voice to do it. One thing is for sure, you'll
definitely want to dance and have a great time when she gets on the stage!!!
Likes: This spicy one has many hobbies. She loves every kind of dancing, singing,
riding jet skis, but most of all, she’s a hands-held-high on a wild,
speeding roller coaster, kind of girl. When Tracy isn’t thrill-seeking,
she likes to spend her days by the beach, watching the sunset, and relaxing.
She agrees that “life is like a box of chocolates” and bites big
chunks of it whenever she can.
KARAH HOLLOWAY
Karah comes to us from Motown, the city of soul... Detroit, MI. (You can hear
that Motown soul in her voice!) She performed in several groups in Detroit
and Windsor, Canada over the past five years. Her repertoire includes everything
from Country to R&B, and now she's added Latin on top of it! Karah is
obviously not a novice performer having entertained crowds in such top notch
venues as Windsor Casino, Palace of Auburn Hills, Cleary Auditorium, Greektown
Casino, Motorcity Casino, and MGM Casino in Detroit. You can hear the classical
training in her powerful voice and her great personality in her awesome performance.
Karah says she's excited to entertain the crowds of the sunny Southwest,
and is off to a great start by recently winning an Anheiser Busch statewide
singing contest.
JEFF ARNOLD
Jeff is an excellent keyboardist and an incredible singer. He was raised in
a musical family in Phoenix, Arizona and has been a part of several of Phoenix's
popular dance bands including; Hypnotic and Soul Check. At a young age he
took the position of Musical Director for 3 large churches in Phoenix and
has since been offered many musical opportunities.
ROBERT SCOTT
Robert is an accomplished musician; a percussion/drum "wizard" and
a fantastic vocalist! As an international recording artist he has recorded
with Dave Samuels, Cliff Sarde, Joey Navarro, and Sister Sledge....he even
toured throughout North America and Europe with Sister Sledge! Robert has had
the pleasure of sharing the stage, while opening for Kenny G., Stanley Jordan,
Take 6, Najee, Kool & The Gang, The Gap Band, Tower of Power and DeBarge,
making him a very well-rounded musician. Of course, Robert is well known for
his versatility, he is that rare type of drummer that can play anything and
sing anything all at the same time! (Isn't that like doing 25 things at one
time? And we complain about walking and chewing gum!)
AL ORTIZ
If you had to choose a single word to describe Al Ortiz, it would have to be,
musical. His playing exudes passionate rhythms from around the world. With
bass in hand, looking completely at ease, he draws attention to himself as
a driving force on any stage. In his spare time he produces music and has
even played for and co-written songs for notable artists such as Stevie Nicks
and Sheryl Crow. All in all, a perfect addition to Tribe 7.
Likes: Al is a Cancer, loves every form of diving, playing music, and mountain
biking. He spends as much time as possible on the beach drinking espressos,
and all of his money on expensive cigars and cheesecake. Al says as long as
the day involves beach, cigars and espressos, that’s all that matters.
